This past week, I got a flat tire during a solo road trip in Kruger Park. I had no cell service and no idea how to change a tire, so I was starting to panic. Then out of nowhere, Julien pulled over, asked what was wrong, and jumped into action. Within 10 minutes, he had the tire changed and me safely back on the road just in time to reach my camp before nightfall! I was so impressed by his kindness, resourcefulness, and cheerful attitude. He asked for nothing in return, but I made sure to get his business card so I could book a safari with him next time I'm in the area!
